Lyle Nelson
After retiring from 35 years in Fish & Wildlife Enforcement and moving to Farmington to be closer to family Lyle came to work for San Juan Marine & Sports in April of 2006.
I have always been in, around, on, or owned boats of various sizes and configurations, so I now have the opportunity to serve our customers and perhaps share a fish story or two. I look forward to serving your boating needs and to know you as a friend. ~Lyle
Bob McCarty
With over 36 years selling boats this is what Bob has to say:

Julia Foley
Julia or Julie as many people call her came to work for San Juan Marine & Sports in May of 1998 as a salesperson/receptionist and was promoted to General Manager in 1999. Julia has over 20 years experience in sales and continues to enjoy helping people find "FUN" and realize their dream when they take it home with them. She says what she enjoys most is spending time assisting customers and that is her first priority above all else.

Bob McCarty
Bob has been in the marine industry over 36 years. His accomplishments include Certified Yamaha Outboard Systems, Past Master Tech for Johnson / Evinrude and was previously certified Mariner, Volvo and OMC when San Juan Marine was still a dealer for those brands. He has vast training in Mercruiser and many other marine training programs.
Jimmy Jones
Jimmy is our full-time technician. He is Mercruiser trained is completing Yamaha's Five-Star Program. He has an extensive background servicing outboards like Mercury, Johnson/Evinrude. He is really good with OMC and Mercruiser. Should you need maintenance, tune-ups, re-builds, or re-seals Jimmy is the man to see.He also delivers all new boats and mot ors to their new owners, so they are educated about their new investment.
Julia Foley
Julia is the General Manager, although not a technician she is currently Certified on Yamaha Outboard Systems and has attended many other manufacturer technical training programs. She also manages our Parts Department.
Robert McCarty
President
Robert returned home from a coaching career in 1976 and joined his parents, Robert and Marie in the endeavor of starting San Juan Marine & Sports. The company featured Glastron, Invader, and Starfire boats with Johnson outboards.
The dealership was located in Aztec, New Mexico and moved to the present location in 1978. San Juan Marine & Sports has enjoyed continual growth since that time.
Julia Foley
General Manager
With an extensive background in Sales, Management, Finance, Insurance, Advertsing, and Human Resources Julia has been the General Manager since 1999. Julia enjoys being part of a progressive organization that's sole purpose is bringing recreation to the community.
We continually strive to bring the best quality products at affordable prices to our customers. We look at our customers as extended family and with that thought we make our business decisions not just for our own good, but for the good of everyone involved in making San Juan Marine & Sports "THEIR" boat dealer. I am often reminded of a quote from Henry Ford, " Employers don't pay the wages. Employers just handle the money. Customers pay the wages." it is so true.
